The conversation

On community and belonging in Portland.

Days after Prologue opened at The Hoxton, DIWA gathered seven Filipino American voices from fashion, tech, the creative fields, community work and marketing for PERMANENCE: an evening of honest conversation about the Filipino American experience in Portland, how far the community has come, and where it goes next.

The panel asked how Filipino Americans can make a lasting mark on this city and how we support each other while we do it, with the looks from Prologue on view throughout the evening.
